A major step forward in research and innovation
In 2020, a new chapter began for Ecomotive Solutions with the installation of a modern emissions test bench at the company’s main headquarters in Serralunga di Crea.
This facility represents a strategic evolution for the company, which has long collaborated with the JRC (Joint Research Centre of the European Union) to strengthen its expertise in the field.
The emissions lab, designed to meet high technical standards, allows not only for in-house vehicle testing but also provides homologation services to other interested companies.
The facility stands out not only for its uniqueness but also for its size: 20.4 meters in length, 8.4 meters in width, and 5.6 meters in height, making it capable of accommodating large vehicles and two additional vehicles for potential soak requirements.
Supporting the chassis dyno room is an external soaking room with direct access, allowing for the conditioning of up to 6 vehicles independently of the temperature set inside the main room.
The test bench can be used for both experimental and homologation testing on a wide range of vehicles, from compact cars to commercial vans. Within the power limits of the equipment, tuning tests can also be performed on heavy-duty vehicles, further expanding the capabilities of the facility.
With this investment, Ecomotive Solutions reaffirms its commitment to innovation and quality, strengthening its position within the international automotive landscape.
